Peachland British Columbia is a small lakeside community, located on the west side of Okanagan Lake just below the Coquhilla connecter and approximately 30-minutes from downtown Kelowna. This charming town has a population of a little more than 5400 people and the residents of living here enjoy a peaceful, quiet, laid-back lifestyle unlike anywhere else in the Okanagan Valley. Peachland’s downtown area runs along Beach Avenue and features boutique shops, popular local restaurants, and the Centennial Pathway. Peachland offers something for everyone with a mix of outdoor recreational activities, crafters and farmers markets, to touring the local award-winning wineries and microbreweries.

The Peachland Elementary School serves children from grades K- 6 and is located in Peachland. For both middle and high school students will need to travel to the neighbouring city of West Kelowna. Grades 7-9 will be provided by Glenrosa Middle School, and grades 10-12 provided by Mount Boucherie Senior Secondary. There are numerous school bus pickup and drop-off points throughout Peachland allowing the kids to travel safely and conveniently to West Kelowna.
Summer Time Activities include the annual Peachland Word of Wheels Car show which runs on Canada’s May long weekend and features custom hot rods, motorcycles, exotics, spread out all along Beach Avenue. Visit Peachlands very own Zipzone Adventure Park and have the bragging rights to say you have been on the highest zip line in Canada, and one of the highest in the world. Rent a Boat or Sea-Doo from Dockside Marine a local marina offering boat rentals located right downtown, after your day of boating have dinner at one of the locals best-kept secrets Blind Angler Grill. Wintertime Activities include going for a walk and take in the natural beauty of the snow-topped mountains and the crystal clear blue lake alongside the Centennial Pathway along Beach Avenue.If you’re daring enough take part in the annual Polar Bear Swim on January 1 located in downtown Peachland at Swim Bay. Jump into the frigid lake below. If your not brave enough come out to see other locals that are. Enjoy the amazing outdoors minutes from town centre and explore the local trails, go ice fishing on Peachland Lake or try Nordic cross-country skiing and snowshoeing around Wilson Lake.
